Let me take you through my journey in the world of air conditioning. It all started during my time in the Army, where I honed my skills as an air conditioning technician (or, as we say in the Army, a 91C). After my military service, I embarked on a five-year apprenticeship with a local union, immersing myself in the intricacies of the trade and getting my hands dirty with every aspect of the job.
As I progressed, I advanced to the role of journeyman technician, tackling challenging projects with a Union company, including large-scale commercial installations. It was an exhilarating adventure, navigating through complex systems and ensuring smooth operations on a grand scale.
With time and dedication, I ascended the ranks to become a service manager at an AC company. This role provided me with a holistic perspective, overseeing everything from customer service to the technical intricacies of the field.
